Terms & Policies

RESERVATION POLICIES:

To make a query with us - you can call us, mail us or use our social media handles to reach out to us. Please note Vana Safaris is a very small organisation & Avijit normally responds to your query. Since he travels too, so sometimes it takes a while before you hear back. However, we are trying constantly to be with you.

Once you hear back from us, please put in your ideas, a rough ball park budget & the kind of places that you like to stay in - we start working from that point and mail back a sketch itinerary to you.

After that we ask for a non refundable deposit that is adjusted towards the final booking amount - once we receive that, we proceed to the detailed program with a quote.

Once you give us a go ahead we ask for a second deposit (after adjusting the initial deposit into it) and start making reservations for you.

Once all accommodations are confirmed - we get back to you with a confirmation sheet and finalise the program with you.

Payments are required from120 days ahead of the tour and 30 days prior to the tour - full payment is a must.

sustainability Policy:

We prioritize direct flights and airlines using newer, more fuel-efficient aircraft or sustainable aviation fuels (SAF). We design itineraries that avoid internal flights for domestic or regional journeys & if the journey is less than 6 hours.

We avoid single use plastic in our tours & where one has to use it, we recycle the waste from the nearest recycling centre.

We choose partner hotels/lodges who practise carbon sequestration & through that we try to design carbon neutral and climate postive jounreys.

We support organisations who are upclycing or recycling plastic & we work with them to upcycle/recylcle the plastics that are generated in the process of doing day to day business in our office.

We abide by globally recognized animal welfare standards (e.g., no riding elephants, no exploitative captive wildlife interactions).

We source office supplies from sustainable vendors & do not use products that are anti-environment. Our office cleaning materials are from a sustainable brand called ‘Koparo’, we recylce office stationary and reuse them & we train our staff to ensure they are aware and sensitised about our sustainability standards.
